Groups/Classes and Skills/Interests
In this area, you may record information about each person’s Membership in groups, classes, or organizations within your Church and track any particular skills or interests that are relevant.
Note:
You may rename Groups / Classes and Skills / Interests and call them something
else, if you like, using Membership Settings. For example, many Churches prefer "Time / Talents" to "Skills / Interests".
To access Groups/Classes and Skills/Interests:
- From The Initial Portal of Church Windows choose Membership Module.
- Click Groups / Skills in the Button Bar at the top of the screen
- When you click the button, the Groups / Skills choices will appear below:
- This button takes you to the Set Up Groups and Classes screen, used to Add Groups / Classes, for Editing or Deleting Groups / Classes, or to rearrange the organizational structure.
Assign Groups
- This button will take you to Managing Group Members using Assign Groups & Skills. (Managing Groups / Classes from Individual Record is also an option.)
Advance Groups
- To automatically move your group members from one class to the next (e.g. 1st grade Sunday School to 2nd grade Sunday School), choose Advance Groups / Classes.
Skills
- Click the Skills button for Adding, Editing, and Deleting Skills / Interests.
Assign Skills
- This button is used for Managing Skills / Interests using the Assign Groups / Skills Screen. (Managing Skills / Interests from Individual Record is also an option.)
